Having obtained an extensive education, spanning two decades, Field is a renowned Sydney-based sculptor. Though she has studied mediums such as painting at the National Art School of Canberra, Field’s practice centres around a delicate composition of beautiful, carved, hand-crafted shapes that are soft to the eye. Described as gentle and calming, Field’s works speak to the art art of hand-crafting and making, producing works with a tactile nature and a sense of calm infused by her process.
