Lihnida Krstanoska-Blazeska

Lihnida Krstanoska-Blazeska is a multidisciplinary Australian-Macedonian artist whose practice explores memory, mythology, culture and identity. Primarily working with ceramics and textiles, she merges these materials to create hybrid figures and creatures that echo her dual heritage. Drawing on childhood memorabilia, family narratives and Macedonian folklore, Lihnida re-imagines ancestral stories and characters, constructing a new personal mythology through form and material.

Lihnida holds a Master of Fine Art (Ceramics) from the National Art School and a Bachelor of Design from UNSW Art & Design (2019). In 2024, she presented her first solo exhibition at Gaffa Gallery in Sydney, following her selection for their Summer Residency program (2023/24). She received the Highly Commended Award at Gosford Regional Gallery in 2024 and was previously a finalist in their Emerging Artist Prize (2023).
