From Thurgate’s ephemeral and emotionally charged drawings, to Jones’ cross-disciplinary work with drawing and sculpture, and Vlavianos’ richly layered abstractions shaped by the experience of residencies, the discussion offers a unique glimpse into three distinctive approaches to making and sustaining a creative life.
