I’m Game if You Are – Jodi Clark
.M Contemporary is excited to announce YAI 2014 winner, Jodi Clark’s, first solo exhibition at the gallery ‘I’m Game if You Are’. Jodi Clark is a Sydney based artist and illustrator whose work explores the grotesque, the feminine and perceptions of beauty.
‘I strongly believe in imperfection. When I make my art I strive for it, and it’s through the organic process of my drawings that the distortions and imperfections of my subjects come to the surface. I make art to challenge normalcy, to show that there is something fascinating about imperfection, outside of our perceptions of what is beautiful or what is normal.’ Jodi recently completed her Honours in Drawing and Painting at UNSW Art & Design.
