Reverie

Reverie presents visions of worlds imagined by three emerging artists working in the medium of ceramics. Aisling McGill’s humanoid figures spawn a watchful world where the line between the viewer and viewed becomes blurred, while the soft hues and tactile textures of Molly White’s work speak of a place of refuge to lift spirits. Susie Choi’s geometric forms playfully combine fundamental shapes, as if there are puzzles to be solved. Each of these worlds has a familiarity about them; perhaps they were recalled from dreams or childhood play. Translating these visions into tangible ceramic form enables the artists to offer a space for viewers to generate their own stories of play and wonder.
