Art Month Sydney 2020

ART MONTH SYDNEY 2020

Since 2010 Galleries across Sydney have been “throwing open their doors” across the month of March to celebrate the vibrancy and diversity of contemporary art. The city-wide festival features over 200 exhibitions and events. Art Month is a festival designed for everyone – from seasoned collectors to curious locals. During this month .M Contemporary will extend their hours till 8pm on the 6th of March. Kickstarting a weekly Friday night late-night gallery trail, the program combines precinct-wide parties that fuse performance, pop-up food and drink, with extended gallery hours. The idea is to explore, introduce yourself to some of Sydney’s lesser-known spaces and experience walking tours and in-depth artist and artistic leaders talks in a thriving, bustling environment. With 10,000 guides distributed across the city, Sydney’s art world becomes entrancingly accessible as galleries morph into social spaces of education, connection and diversity.
