In Sequences, I continue exploring the delicate balance between movement and stillness through my new body of abstract paintings. Each painting embodies a serene flow of energy, capturing calm contemplation. The viewer is immersed in a tranquil yet dynamic visual journey.
This new collection reflects my fascination with the interplay of motion and tranquility, encouraging a meditative experience. Amidst this harmony, an undercurrent of mystery weaves through the compositions, inviting viewers to delve deeper and uncover hidden layers of meaning.
Finnish born, Australian based artist Agneta Ekholm’s work is by definition abstract and built entirely from imagination and engagement with her technical process. Each painting evolves on the canvas: no working drawings exist. The paintings result from the exploration and discovery inherent in a technique honed over the last 20 years.
