Through the combination of Watson’s recurring birdperson imagery and the ageing but prolific infrastructure of the electrical pole, she seeks to divulge human dependence on electricity. The physicality of the electricity pole is painted with a wind turbine to acknowledge a shift to and the potential solution available in renewable energy such as harvesting wind power.
