Art spotting in Melbourne: Jason Wing and Bindi Cole

We’re loving the striking work by Bindi Cole and Jason Wing at the moment, as seen in Melbourne at the Counihan Gallery in Brunswick. The show we saw was Ghost Citizens exhibition which is about “is about the removal of citizen rights by the Federal government’s ‘intervention’, (2007 – 2012) in the Northern Territory, seen through the practices of Aboriginal and non-Indigenous artists”. Just close a week or so ago, the show had some really brilliant, evocative (and provocative) work.
